This Kiss~Prussia x Reader Three Shot(1/3)

"Just once to make her jealous, please? Your the only person I know that'll do it"

"I suppose I can do it but remember, this doesn't mean I like you cause I don't"

That's what I said that day. Now I don't believe it.

I want more but I can't have any more cause he got what he wanted, he got that girl and I got nothing.

I haven't seen Gil since, I can't face him. Not when I feel like this about him.
I'm not looking forward to this Saturday at all. Why? It's Gilbert's birthday and Ludwig's expecting me to be there.

I know she's gonna be there too, she's gonna be all over him like a rash. I'll have to find a excuse not to come, I'm sure I'll get past Ludwig somehow.

I got up from the couch where I was wallowing in my own sorrows and grabbed the house phone before thinking up a suitable excuse. 'I'll say that I'm sick that'll work, defiantly' I thought.

I pressed the buttons slowly making sure every digit was right before dialling the number.
The phone was silent for a moment before a low, agitated voice burst through the phone
"Hello?"

"Ah, Hi Ludwig, I-I..."

"Oh hi [y/n], If your calling to say you can't come don't bother, I'll drag you here if I have to okay?"

My mouth dropped open to form an O shape as big as you could get it. How was I meant to get out of this one?

"A-ah, but-"

"I've got to go bye [y/n]" He said a slight smirk in his voice then the phone went silent as it bleeped before switching back to the call screen.

I placed the phone down on the coffee table beside the couch and bought my knees too my chest. Sighing loudly, as I began to wonder how I'm going to get myself out of this massive mess.

//Le Time Skip~//Gilbert's Birthday Party

I walked up to the door, my legs shaking like there was an earthquake ripping through my body. I breathed in and out slowly before scrunching my fists together and moving it too sit before the door frame. I closed my eyes as my knuckles hit the wood. I opened my eyes to look through the window to see whether I could see any signs of movement.

“I'll wait here 5 more seconds and if they don't answer, I'm leaving. I don't care what Ludwig says” I whispered to myself.

I looked at my watch and waited 2 seconds if that.

"Right they're not here so I'm leaving".

I turned round on my heel to face the road as I was about to step out someone's hand grabbed the neck of my coat,

"No you don't." They whispered in my ear, I was getting ready to scream when they hastily turned me around to face them. I winced and closed my eyes waiting for someones fist to collide with my face, when it didn't, I slowly opened my eyes.

It was Ludwig. I half smiled nervously,

"Oh h-hi Ludwig".

I gasped as he tightened his grip on my collar and flung my body behind him through the open door into their house.

He walked in robotically and slammed the door shut behind him.

Gil seemed to have noticed the rather loud slam,

"Bruder, what are you doing out there?"

His thick Prussian accent rung through my head as I quickly made a stand to try to get past Ludwig.

Ludwig's arms popped out like the wings of Buzz Lightyear blocking my path to escape.

I could hear him coming, his footsteps getting ever closer.

I stopped striving to escape as I looked into Ludwig's baby blue eyes,

"Please, I-I can't do this not now" I whispered nervously.

"Do what? What are you on about [y/n]?" He spat at me in confusion.

Tap, Tap, Tap.

I shook my head, feeling tears pushing to break free.

I opened my mouth to say something but just then Gilbert came in.

"Oh hey [y/n], I haven't seen you in ages, how have you been?" He said his voice low, silky and seductive.

He came closer to me, his arms out wide. I bought my arms forward and pushed him lightly away.

I looked up at him, his face puzzled.

"I'm fine thanks" I said, flicking my long [y/c/h] behind me, my head high.

He just looked at me even more hurt that I showed no guiltiness about pushing him away.

"Okay, that's great..." He mumbled, his head facing towards the floor.

Ludwig looked between us confused at the animosity I was demonstrating towards his brother who I'd been best friends with for as long as I remember.

"Bruder, why don't you go in the living room and wait for the other guests? I'll let them in."

"Okay then Ludwig, c'mon [y/n]!" Gilbert said while pulling me into the living room with him, I sent Ludwig a distressed look but he didn't seem to get the message.

I sat down on the red sofa and began to scan the room, as you do when your waiting for somebody or a group of people, to arrive.

Gilbert sat in the arm chair across from me,

"So [y/n], a-about that kiss, you er-regret it do you?"

I gulped not sure whether to tell him how I felt about him but suddenly my mouth made the desicion for me, "Yes, I regret every second of it.".

I clamped my hand over my mouth quickly, looking at Gil's hurt and taken back expression.

"What? Why?" He asked obvisouly confused at my strange behaviour towards him as well.

I shook my head, hand still clamped over my mouth as I squeezed my eyes tightly shut so I didn't have to look at him a second longer.

"[y/n] look at me."

I felt him lean forwards towards me as his breath ghosted on the back of my hands and his hands leant on my knees.

"[y/n] please, just look at me." He said his voice gentle yet pleading.

Gilbert's hands detached from my knees as the got closer to my face, ready to pull my hands away.

His fingers laced gently round my wrists, prising my hands away slowly.

It was then I realised how close he was too me. My head was nearly touching his, our lips centimetres apart.

My breath hitched in the back of my throat as he spoke,

"[y/n], I'm sorry I must've really..." Gilbert trailed off as our lips started to slowly get closer to each other, our eyes locked on one another's.

Suddenly Alfred burst into the room,

"Hey dude, happy birthday man!"

We jerked away from each other quickly as we turned to look towards Alfred.

"H-hey, thanks for the birthday wishes man, I really appricate it!" Gilbert said getting up to give Alfred a bro-hug.

I looked away as I focused my eyes on the floor thinking of what could've happened if Alfred hadn't have inturrpted.

'Damn you Alfred and your stupid timing problems!' I thought scowling at the floor.
