Ever since Matthew got together with [b/f/n], I've been feeling this new feeling I can't explain.
I was never good with my feelings, I didn't understand them very well, especially this one. Why did I feel the want to be his girlfriend now?
Every time they kissed and they held hands, I wished it was me. I don't love him, or at least I don't think I do?
Even if I did, I couldn't do much about it right? He was out of bounds now, someone else's property.
So why now, was I outside his door in the middle of the night, hesitating over whether to knock or not?
Tears were rolling down my face like a waterfall as the snow fell faster and coated the street in a blanket of white.
I was shivering now, I was used to Canada being cold but never this cold. I had barely lived here a year so I was still adjusting.
All of a sudden, the door opened revealing a very confused Matthew. "[y/n], what are you doing here? A-and why're you crying?" He asked, staring down at me confused but a hint of sympathy in his voice.
Next, I did something...something I didn't expect. I embraced Matthew in a bone crushing hug, knocking him to the floor.
I opened my eyes, only to meet wide eyed purple ones. I felt a blush spread across my face. "[y-y/n], c-could you-?". I interrupted him by placing my lips upon his, capturing him in a very intensely passionate kiss.
His right hand laid gently upon the back of my head, making my body push against his, as his left hand held my waist. Our tongues battled for dominance but in the end, Matthew won.
As we pulled apart for air, a string of salvia still connected us, I spoke up.
"M-Mattie, why?"
"W-why what?"
"Why did you kiss me back?" I asked in a tone of confusion. "I thought you liked [b/f/n], that's why you're going out with her right?"
"...I-I don't know..." Matthew whispered, turning his head away from me, his hair shielding his eyes.
Not getting the response I wanted, I got up off Matthew, turning towards the still wide open door, ready to leave but before I could, I felt lips pressed against mine as Matthew scooped me up into his arms carrying me upstairs, bridle style.
Finally, I got what I wanted, I knew wanted. "I finally got next to you, Mattie" I whispered, hoping he wouldn't hear.
"You were always next to me, [y/n], no matter what, I-I was always thinking of you" Mattie said a smile upon his face, his purple orbs held so much love that I didn't need anymore proof, it was already there.

I sighed as I sat in my usual seat in the back.
